Expedition 72 crew members Alexey Ovchinin and Ivan Vagner will be outside the station’s Poisk module. It will install new patch panels for electrical connectors and a six-pack of experiments to detect astronomical X-ray shunts. The 269th spacewalk will assist with maintenance, upgrades, and assembly of the space station. However, Kononenko, wearing the red-striped Orlan spacesuit, will don it for the sixth time. Chub will wear the blue-striped spacesuit for his first spacewalk.
